Locke Lord Re-Elects Chair, Vice Chairs; New Members to Executive Committee and Board of Directors

January 25, 2021 – Locke Lord’s Executive Committee has re-elected David Taylor (Houston) as Chair of the Firm and Jennifer Kenedy (Chicago), Bill Swanstrom (Houston) and Thomas Yoxall (Dallas) as Vice Chairs of its Executive Committee. In addition, Locke Lord’s Partners have elected two new members to the Firm’s Executive Committee and four new members to the Board of Directors.

The new members of the Firm’s Executive Committee are Allison O’Neil (Boston) and Whit Roberts (Dallas). Also remaining on Locke Lord’s Executive Committee with Taylor, Kenedy, Swanstrom and Yoxall are Michelle Earley (Austin), Miki Goodin (Chicago), David Grant (London), Alan Levin (New York and Hartford), Paul Mahoney (Providence), Richard A. Manley Jr. (Boston), Paul Nason (Dallas), Mitch Tiras (Houston) and Steve Whitmer (Chicago).

Locke Lord’s Board of Directors helps direct the Firm’s vision and strategy and collaborates on other Firm-wide initiatives. Co-Chaired by Victoria de Lisle (New Orleans) and Nina Huerta (Los Angeles), the Board reports to Taylor and the Executive Committee. The new members are David Bogan (Hartford and Boston), Lauren Fincher (Austin), William D. Foley Jr. (New York) and Andrew Otis (New York). Also remaining on the Board are Art Anthony (Dallas), Cynthia Bast (Austin), Elizabeth Campbell (Atlanta), Al Clark (Los Angeles), Laura Edrington (Houston), Douglas Gray (Providence), Denise Hanna (Washington, D.C.), Ben Henry (London), Tom Knight (Washington, D.C.), Ashlee Knuckey (Chicago), Elizabeth Mack (Dallas), Hanna Norvell (Houston), Rusty Perdew (Chicago), Brandon Renken (Houston), Heather Stone (Boston), Benjamin Sykes (Chicago), Kimberly Williams (Dallas) and Scott Wofsy (Stamford).

Newly elected members of Locke Lord’s Executive Committee:

  • O’Neil, Co-Chair of the Firm’s White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice Group and Co-Chair of Locke Lord’s Women’s Initiative, focuses her practice on white collar investigations, internal investigations, employment matters and complex business litigation. She is also a member of both the Diversity and Inclusion and Marketing/Practice Development Committees.
  • Roberts, Deputy Managing Partner of Locke Lord’s Dallas office and a member of the Firm’s Corporate and Transactional Practice Group, has extensive experience in a broad range of merger and acquisition, corporate finance and other corporate and joint venture transactions. He is also a member of both Locke Lord’s Women’s Initiative and the Marketing/Practice Development Committee.

Newly elected members of Locke Lord’s Board of Directors:

  • Bogan’s practice encompasses all aspects of public utility regulation before state administrative agencies and state and federal courts, and he advises some of the nation’s largest energy, cable, telecommunications and water companies on regulatory issues and acquisitions. He is a member of the Firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee as well as the Flexible Work Arrangement and Legal Personnel and Partnership Admissions Committees.
  • Fincher, a litigator and member of Locke Lord’s Administrative and Regulatory Practice Group, has experience in government and administrative agency matters, regulatory compliance issues and commercial litigation, including inquiries and investigations by state attorneys general and federal agencies, such as the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission. Her practice spans across industries, including health care. She is a member of the Women’s Initiative, Attorney Development and Marketing/Practice Development Committees.
  • Foley is a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Financial Services Litigation Practice Groups. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and arbitration with a particular emphasis on the banking, financial institutions and financial technology industries. He regularly conducts comprehensive internal forensic investigations on behalf of his clients to aid in the discovery and trial phases in both state and federal courts. Foley is a member of the Firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
  • Otis, a member of Locke Lord’s Environmental Practice Group, provides clients strategic and cost-effective solutions to their environmental remediation, permitting and compliance needs and counsels clients on environmental issues in mergers and acquisitions and financings.
