Locke Lord Team Represented AHP in Sale to Porch Group

A Locke Lord team represented American Home Protect, LLC (AHP), in its sale to Porch Group, Inc., a leading vertical software and InsurTech company. Based in Plano, Texas, AHP is a provider of whole home warranty policies across the United States; it currently provides home warranty policies in 45 states and is in the process of obtaining licenses in an additional four states. The deal closed on September 9, 2021. The acquisition allows Porch to enter the home warranty market.
