New York Partner Rob Evans, Co-Chair of Locke Lord’s Capital Markets Practice Group, shared insight with Law360 on expected changes to the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) under the leadership of Gary Genslar, who was nominated by President Biden to serve as the next SEC Chairman.

“I suspect we'll see a swing toward more emphasis on investor protection and perhaps market regulation," he said, noting Genslar’s predecessor had “emphasized capital formation.”
