ICMAD 2020 Cosmetic Technical Regulatory Forum

Sharon Blinkoff and Dan Solitro made five presentations at the ICMAD 2020 Cosmetic Technical Regulatory Forum in Manhattan Beach, CA on February 18-19, 2020. Sharon, who also served on the Board of Directors of ICMAD, covered four topics ranging from legislative update and microbiome to Cosmetics 101 and 102. Ed and Dan participated in the panel “Advertising Threats: Government & Class Actions.”

This 2-day forum provided updated information on topics that could have significant business impact.  Presentations were focused on emerging legal, technical, legislative, and regulatory issues.  Awareness of the upcoming changes in the sunscreen monograph or the re-emergence of another Federal Bill on cosmetics safety is critical for anticipation of business needs.  In-depth workshops focused on a variety of topics including the most potent challenges our industry faces in the U.S. and globally.
