With the launch of the #MeTooPay campaign, pay discrepancies between the genders are once again in the headlines. We looked at when employers will and will not be legally exposed under the equal pay legislation and how employers might redress inequalities. We also discussed the mixed impact of gender pay reporting, the likely future introduction of pay reporting on the grounds of ethnicity and what can be done about the continuing disparities based on socio-economic background.
