Locke Lord Advises Private Investor on Sale of 50-Acre Data Centre to International Data Centre Operator

A Locke Lord team led by Ben Henry (Chicago) and Nick Jennings (London) advised a private investor on the sale of a 50-acre data centre development site in Saunderton, Buckinghamshire, UK, to a major international data centre operator. The site benefits from a National Grid power contract for 120MVA, planning permission and is cleared in readiness for construction. Locke Lord has been working with the client on the deal since February 2020 from acquisition to site enhancement and ultimately the disposal, which closed in early February 2024.
