Giovanni Visintini is a dual qualified solicitor and trade mark attorney with the majority of his experience in IP law. Throughout his career, both in private practice and in-house, Giovanni has managed, protected and enforced IP rights in a variety of business sectors.

Giovanni's experience includes:

• Providing global strategic advice to senior management of a major energy company in relation to complex IP asset management, protection, exploitation and enforcement issues
• Lead negotiations and provide advice on IP assets of a major energy company in JV, M&A, distribution, licence, procurement and other agreements covering multiple jurisdictions
• Leading the project to enforce colour trademarks in ground breaking cases in various jurisdictions, in particular UK, Poland and Russia.
• Managing worldwide trade mark portfolio of a leading energy company
• Advising on sponsorship agreements and exploitation of sponsorship rights in marketing campaigns, including international sporting events and cultural sponsorships
