Chicago’s Ken Suh, Senior Counsel in Locke Lord’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice Group, was quoted by Bloomberg Law on the increased rate of new Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) lawsuits filed following the Illinois Supreme Court’s White Castle decision.
“Growing BIPA liability risks may push more businesses into settlement agreements,” said Suh.
