Locke Lord Announces 2 New Partners in Boston and Providence

July 12, 2021 – Locke Lord is pleased to announce the promotion of two lawyers to Partnership level in the Firm’s Boston and Providence offices. The lawyers are members of Locke Lord’s Corporate and Transactional and Debt Finance Practice Groups.

In Boston:

Michael I. Harrison represents banks, finance companies, private equity sponsors and public and private operating companies in a broad range of debt financing transactions, including syndicated lending transactions, second lien and subordinated debt financings and restructuring transactions. Harrison’s extensive experience includes representation of agents and arrangers in syndicated lending transactions, direct lending entities in lending transactions and equity sponsors and operating companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions and recapitalizations.

In Providence:

Robert E. Baute Jr. primarily focuses on Mergers & Acquisitions and general corporate law. Baute has represented a variety of private equity and venture capital funds, public and private companies and individuals on transactions in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. He advises clients on matters ranging from leveraged buyouts, growth equity investments, joint ventures and recapitalizations to vendor contracts, employment and equity incentive arrangements and other corporate matters. He has represented clients in a range of industries, including: telecom, networks and spectrum; technology; digital media, events and publishing; and consumer and retail, among others.
