Locke Lord Again Ranked No. 1 Texas Law Firm Lobby Practice ‎by Capitol Inside; Chair of Firm’s Texas Public Law Section ‎Robert Miller Ranked No. 1 Lobbyist in Texas ‎

(AUSTIN) January 29, 2019 – Locke Lord has once again held its position as the No. 1 Texas law firm lobby practice as ranked by Capitol Inside in its biennial Texas Lobby Power Rankings. The Firm has remained in the top position since 2004. Robert Miller, Chair of the Firm’s Texas Public Law Section and Co-Chair of its Public Law and Policy Practice Group, has been ranked as a top lobbyist in the state at the No. 1 position, and three other Locke Lord Public Law lawyers and professionals are included in the Power Rankings.

• Public Policy Advisor Nef Partida is No. 49 on the Hired Guns list, moving up from the position of No. 55 on the previous list. Partida has served on the strategy team as a communications consultant to a number of Republican and Democratic campaigns.
• Public Policy Advisor Crystal Brown is No. 55 on the Hired Guns list, moving up from her status as No. 6 on the Rising Stars list in 2017. Brown joined the Firm in 2016 after serving as Chief of Staff for Democratic State Rep. Carol Alvarado of Houston.
