Boston’s Richard Glovsky, Co-Chair of Locke Lord’s Labor & Employment Practice Group, was quoted in a recent article examining the U.S. Department of Labor’s decision to appeal a Texas judge’s ruling to toss the Obama administration’s overtime rule that extended overtime pay. Glovsky noted that the agency’s decision to appeal keeps its options open and stated: “This is not surprising and makes sense from the DOL’s perspective. This may help clarify, expedite and add order to a context which is currently unclear.”
