Michael Gaertner, Hugh Balsam, James Peterka, David Abramowitz, Wasim Bleibel and Timothy Peterson (all of Chicago) represented Zydus Pharmaceuticals (USA) Inc. and Cadila Healthcare Limited as Shire Development LLC sought to overturn the district court’s decision that Zydus’s generic version of Shire’s ulcerative colitis drug Lialda does not infringe Shire’s U.S. Patent No. 6,773,720.
