Michael Gaertner, Keith Parr, James Peterka, David Abramowitz, Wasim Bleibel and Timothy Peterson (all of Chicago) successfully represented Zydus Pharmaceuticals (USA) Inc. and Cadila Healthcare Limited by securing a ruling after a bench trial that Zydus’s proposed generic version of Shire Development LLC’s ulcerative colitis drug Lialda would not infringe Shire’s U.S. Patent No. 6,773,720.
