Dick Glovsky to Co-Chair ‘The Silent Crisis: Including Latinos and Why It Matters’ Forum
February 10, 2015
Dick Glovsky will co-chair a forum sponsored by the Latino-Jewish Roundtable about “The Silent Crisis”, a recent study sponsored by the Greater Boston Latino Network (GBLN) that found a dearth of Latino representation in the higher echelons of government in Boston, Chelsea and Somerville. The event will be held on February 11 at Boston City Hall. Felix Arroyo, a candidate for mayor in the last election and now Chief of Health and Human Services for the City of Boston, will deliver the opening remarks. A panel will discuss the report and its impact on the communities it covered. Sitting on the panel will be Juan Leyton of the GBLN; Jen Douglas, a co-author of the report; and Juan Vega, President and CEO of Centro Latino. Glovsky also serves as co-chair of the Latino-Jewish Roundtable. Please click for more information on this event.
