American Bar Association: 2023 May Tax Meeting

Todd Cooper will serve as a panelist at the American Bar Association 2023 May Tax Meeting on May 4-6, 2023 in Washington, D.C. Todd will take part in the 'Giving and Receiving the 501(c)(3) Opinion in Bond Transactions' on May 5.

Panelists during this portion of the session will discuss the scope of what is typically requested in a 501(c)(3) opinion for the issuance of qualified 501(c)(3) bonds. Topics will include, among others, common tax due diligence practices, determination of unrelated trade or business activities and confirmation of an organization’s exempt purpose.
