12th Annual Florida Early Stage Capital Conference

Locke Lord was a proud sponsor of the Florida Venture Forum’s 12th Annual Florida Early Stage Capital Conference, May 9-10, 2019 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate.

The Florida Early Stage Capital Conference is one of the largest gatherings of angel and early stage investors in Florida, featuring presentations from some of the most innovative, fast growing companies in the Southeast. This 2-day event offers numerous networking opportunities, panel discussions from industry leaders, keynote speakers, incubator and accelerator programs and pitches from entrepreneurial students representing the top universities throughout the state. Presenting companies also competed for the Accelerating Innovation (AI) Award, offered by Space Florida, totaling $100,000.

The Florida Venture Forum (FVF) is the preeminent member-based, private equity, venture capital and angel capital organization in Florida. In the past 35 years, Florida-based companies presenting at FVF conferences have raised over $4.5 Billion of venture capital investment.
