On August 18, Locke Lord Houston lawyers Kurt Krolikowski, Jennie Simmons and Emma Doineau participated in a Houston Bar Association and Houston Volunteer Lawyers city-wide initiative to provide legal advice to Hurricane Harvey victims just ahead of the hurricane’s one-year anniversary. They provided one-on-one legal advice to people affected by Hurricane Harvey, covering issues such as insurance, FEMA appeals, contractor abuse, mortgages, landlord/tenant issues, family law matters, replacing lost documents, probate, clear home ownership and other legal problems.
