Locke Lord is a proud sponsor of the 7th Annual GAIN (Gainesville Area Innovation Network) Shootout. This year’s event is on November 1, 2017 at Holiday Inn University Center in Gainesville, Florida.
The GAIN Shootout is an annual pitch competition that brings venture capitalists, successful entrepreneurs and other startup resources to Gainesville, Florida. 16 up-and-coming startups get to present to a panel of Venture Capitalists and Angel Investors in their industries to win equity-free cash to help advance their businesses. The startup that receives first place for their pitch will receive $7,000 while second place will receive $2,000 and third place $1,000!
