Locke Lord Dallas Team Secures Acquittal Verdict on Antitrust Count in DOJ's First-Ever Criminal Wage-Fixing Case

A Locke Lord Dallas team led by Paul Coggins and Jennifer McCoy secured a jury verdict acquitting the Firm’s client, Neeraj Jindal, on the antitrust count in the DOJ’s first-ever criminal wage-fixing case. Following an eight-day trial in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, the jury found Jindal, the former owner of a physical therapy staffing company, not guilty of violating Section 1 of the Sherman Act after the government charged him with conspiring with competitors to lower pay for physical therapists. Additional assistance in the case was provided by Holly Atchley, Veronica LongBrad Weber and Brendan Gaffney (all of Dallas).
