Houston Team Represents NGP Natural Resources in $500 Million Equity Commitment for Luxe Energy
A Houston Locke Lord team of Mechelle Smith, Eric Larson and Sara Longtain represented NGP Natural Resources XI LP in a $500 million equity commitment for Luxe Energy LLC on May 4, 2015. NGP Natural Resources, the private equity portion of Natural Gas Partners focused on natural resources and management, will partner with Austin based Luxe for the venture in applying technology advancements and top tier operations. Luxe will use the equity commitment to apply technology in West Texas drilling such as long reach horizontal drilling and multi stage fracking. The release from NGP can be found here.
