Paul M. Pruett's real estate and finance practice involves a broad array of complex transactions and matters. As Co-Chair of the Firm's Real Estate and Real Estate Finance practice, Paul provides counsel to financial institutions in connection with the structuring, documentation and negotiation of construction, development, acquisition, and term loans for various income-producing properties, including office buildings, retail shopping centers, multi-family projects, condominium towers, hotels, mini-storage, medical office buildings, industrial and warehouse facilities, mixed-use projects and residential lot developments. His clients include large national and regional banks, and he has handled syndicated and unsyndicated transactions involving mezzanine financing, intercreditor arrangements, ground leases, pre-negotiated take-out purchasers, letters of credit, and multi-state property portfolios. He also has extensive experience in loan workouts, restructurings and foreclosures.
