Adam M. Millard

Adam Millard assists clients in the areas of private equity, M&A and general corporate law. He has represented venture capital funds and venture-backed startups as well as clients ranging from private companies to private equity firms and their portfolio companies on a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and other general corporate matters. 

Adam has been involved in the following transactions:

• Assisted in the representation of Hastings Equity Partners, a preferred capital partner to founders of lower to middle-market businesses, in its Fund IV portfolio company’s acquisition of Clear Path Utility Solutions, a leading provider of expert consulting services to gas and electric utilities
• Assisted in the representation of Greenbacker Capital Management, LLC, through an affiliated fund, in a $15 million Series A investment in Revolv, a full-service provider of electric medium-to-heavy commercial fleets that simplifies the transition from internal combustion engines to electric
• Assisted in the representation of Legacy Farms, LLC, a leading fresh vegetable and fruit grower, shipper and wholesaler to grocers and foodservice providers in the western United States, in the acquisition of Frieda’s, a California-based specialty produce distributor
• Assisted in the representation of a lower middle-market private equity firm in its investment in a leading utility contractor specializing in infrastructure solutions for the telecom and gas industries
• Assisted in the representation of a ‎security services provider in its ‎acquisition of the cyber threat ‎detection business of a military ‎contractor and the formation of a new, ‎unified organization ‎
• ‎Assisted in the representation of a leading provider of specialty temporary staffing, executive search and employee screening services to the multifamily real estate industry in its acquisition of a full-service apartment staffing resource for the multifamily industry
