James Hwa's practice focuses on the areas of computer hardware and software, power distribution systems, process automation, telecommunications, motors, controllers, optics and consumer products. James has been involved in patent litigation before the federal district courts and the International Trade Commission (ITC), as well as in appeals before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).
James has rendered invalidity, non-infringement and enforceability opinions as well as clearance and patentability opinions, prepared and prosecuted patent applications, conducted due diligence investigations and advised individuals and companies on their intellectual property rights.
