Locke Lord Serves as Counsel to Senior Secured Lender in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Case of A’Gaci

A Locke Lord team served as counsel to a senior secured lender in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy case of A’Gaci, L.L.C. A’Gaci, a women’s fast-fashion clothing retailer with stores located throughout the United States and Puerto Rico, filed its Chapter 11 case in January 2018 in the Western District of Texas (San Antonio Division). In July 2018, A’Gaci successfully confirmed a consensual Chapter 11 plan with full lender support. This plan reorganized A’Gaci’s operations around an infusion of new financing and paid off A’Gaci’s entire debt to Locke Lord’s client. A’Gaci’s plan went effective on August 2, 2018. The Locke Lord team was led by Steven Bryant with assistance from Jeff Hubenak and Steve Humeniuk (all of Austin).
