Sale of Baja Broadband Cable Systems by M/C Partners and Columbia Capital

Our lawyers acted as lead counsel to M/C Partners and Columbia Capital in the $267,500,000 sale of cable systems by their affiliate, Baja Broadband LLC, to a subsidiary of Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. The deal closed on August 1, 2013. Edwards Wildman was awarded the "Technology & Telecom Deal of the Year: Middle Markets" at the 2013 Americas M&A Atlas Awards hosted by the Global M&A Network for serving as the legal advisor to Baja Broadband, LLC. Baja Broadband, LLC, based in Fort Mill, South Carolina, is a cable tv company that owns and operates cable systems in communities within the states of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Utah.
