Texas: On August 26, the Texas Department of Insurance issued Commissioner’s Bulletin No. #B-0035-20 to remind surety bond companies executing surety bonds during the COVID-19 pandemic of their statutory authority to do business electronically, including using electronic signatures, if all parties to a transaction agree.
