HUD Policy Would Exacerbate a Worsening Crisis
Los Angeles Partner Alfred Clark authored an article for the Daily Journal’s “Perspective” column examining the potential negative impacts of HUD’s proposal to terminate benefits to households with a member unable to verify eligible immigration status. In particular, Clark pointed out, the proposed rule change is likely to worsen Los Angeles County’s existing homelessness crisis if it is implemented.
