Jim Peterka participated in the second annual international conference for the Center for Excellence in Intellectual Property at the Goa College of Pharmacy in Goa, India on November 16-17, 2017. Jim participated in a panel of distinguished speakers from academia, the pharmaceutical industry and the U.S. and Indian legal professions. Jim also spoke on patent issues relating to drug substances, including obviousness and inherent anticipation and certain invalidity defenses under section 112 of the patent statute.
