NY Cybersecurity Rules: Preparing For The August Deadline

Ted Augustinos, member of the Steering Committee of the Firm’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice Group and Hartford Office Managing Partner, authored a Law360 article on preparing for the August deadline of the new cybersecurity regulations set forth by the New York Department of Financial Services (DFS). Augustinos examines the steps that many entities and individuals regulated by the DFS will need to take in order to be in compliance with several of the regulation’s requirements by the effective date of August 28.
