Locke Lord Public Finance Partner Karen Grande Featured in Providence Business News Discussing Her Career Path and Impact on Rhode Island’s Landscape

Karen Grande, a Partner in Locke Lord’s Providence office, was featured in Providence Business News discussing her career path and how her contributions to public finance law have helped shape the landscape of Rhode Island. Grande was recently selected as the 2023 Legal Services Industry Leader by Providence Business News’ Business Women Awards.

“I’m sure not a lot of people in the general public know who I am or what I do, but almost everyone has been to one of [those public projects] or benefited from services provided by [the firm],” Grande said. “We’ve done a lot of work for public and private schools. I really like school projects. I also like health care projects very much.”

In addition, Grande stressed the importance of mentoring and highlighted Locke Lord’s longtime focus on supporting women and other diverse communities, noting the Firm’s overall “really supportive environment.”
