February 24, 2023

David Gair, Partner in Locke Lord’s Dallas office and Chair of the Firm’s Tax Controversy Practice Group, was featured in several publications on his arrival to Locke Lord, noting his move to the Firm was driven by its reputation and reach.

"Locke Lord has a plethora of amazing legal talent in so many practice areas," Gair said. "It has an impressive management team, tax practice group leadership and collaborative culture. Not only is it exciting to join a well-respected firm, but a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop a growing practice area to service existing and future clients."

Gair added that tax controversy is “getting very busy,” because of the $80 billion going to the IRS over 10 years as part of the Inflation Reduction Act. “Their funding is at levels that haven’t been seen since the 1970s right now. The amount of work has exploded,” he added.
