Krystle Tadesse Recognized as 2022 Leader in the Law by Rhode Island Lawyers Weekly

Locke Lord Providence Partner Krystle Tadesse was named a 2022 Leader in the Law by Rhode Island Lawyers Weekly. The award honors current leaders of the bar for their outstanding accomplishments across the legal profession. Tadesse’s career, civic and Firm involvement were spotlighted in a special edition of Rhode Island Lawyers Weekly, and she was honored at the publication’s Excellence in the Law event on June 7.

Tadesse was a 2021 Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and a past President of the Rhode Island Women’s Bar Association. In 2021, she was appointed to serve as Chair of the Rhode Island Judicial Nominating Commission, the first woman of color to hold the position. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees and Co-Chairs the Trusteeship Committee of The Gordon School, and she serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of Reach Out and Read Rhode Island.

She has a broad business litigation and counseling practice where she represents clients in complex disputes across a number of industries in state and federal courts throughout the Northeast as well as in matters before the Federal Trade Commission, U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental Protection Agency, Occupational Safety and Health Administration and their state equivalents.
