Houston Office Managing Partner Laura Edrington Honored by The Women's Resource as 2021 Outstanding Woman in Banking and Finance

Houston Office Managing Partner Laura Edrington, a member of the Firm’s Board of Directors and Chair of Locke Lord’s Corporate Trust Practice Group, was selected by The Women’s Resource as a 2021 Outstanding Women in Banking and Finance honoree. The award acknowledges women who have made substantial contributions and achievements in banking and finance and serve as an inspiration to the community. Edrington will be recognized among the 2021 honorees during The Women’s Resource’s 30th Annual Luncheon in October.

Edrington represents financial institutions in connection with securitizations, public finance and bonds. She is well recognized as a leader in representing trustees in connection with events of default and plays a crucial role in negotiating and advising trustees in connection with enforcement rights. Financial institutions regularly seek Edrington’s advice in connection with complex financial structures in negotiating documents for new issuances, dispute resolution and for improving internal policies and practices.

A longtime supporter of Houston community organizations and initiatives, Edrington is an active volunteer and holds a number of leadership positions, including: Board of Directors, Greater Houston Partnership; Board of Directors, Central Houston Inc.; Director, Harris County MUD 410; Sustaining Member, Junior League of Houston; Board of Directors, Pine Cove Christian Camps; and Member, West University Baptist Church.
