Locke Lord’s Ann Ryan Robertson Named to Who's Who Legal: Arbitration 2021 List

Ann Ryan Robertson, C.Arb, FCIArb, International Partner in Locke Lord’s Houston office, has been named to Global Arbitration Review’s Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration 2021. Robertson has been selected to this list for the past six years. Global Arbitration Review is a leading international arbitration journal and its Who’s Who Arbitration is a prestigious listing, recognizing leading commercial arbitrator practitioners after meeting independent research criteria and being surveyed among clients and peers.

Robertson serves as both arbitrator and counsel in international and domestic arbitrations in a variety of complex business disputes across a number of industries.

Robertson is Deputy President of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and will become the organization’s global President effective Jan. 1, 2021. In addition, she is a member of the Council of the American Arbitration Association, Chair of the ICDR’s Rules Revision Subcommittee, a member of the Executive Committee of the Advisory Board of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration, a member of the LCIA and a past member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration. Robertson is a member of a number of arbitral institution panels and most recently was selected by the U.S. Department of Trade as one of 10 arbitrators appointed by the United States to serve as a dispute resolution panelist pursuant to Chapter 31 of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). She is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston Law Center and for 19 years coached its Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot team.
