Well-Known and Respected Insolvency and Restructuring Lawyer David Grant Appointed Managing Partner of Locke Lord’s London Office

(LONDON) March 13, 2019 – Locke Lord’s David Grant, a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee and Regional Practice Group Leader for Europe and Asia/Pacific Rim, has been appointed Managing Partner of the Firm’s London office.

“David joined Locke Lord when we opened our London office in 2012, and he has been an important part of not only that office but of our Firm-wide Insolvency Practice and our Firm-wide collaboration efforts,” said Locke Lord Chair David Taylor. “David has been an excellent representative as a newly appointed member of the Firm’s Executive Committee, and we are confident he will do the same on behalf of our growing London office.”

Grant, who heads the Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group in London, focuses his practice on insolvency and restructuring, with an emphasis on contentious insolvency and recovery actions. He also has extensive experience with fraud and forensic investigations by UK and overseas regulators and law enforcement agencies. He advises and represents insolvency practitioners, banks, company directors, asset-based lenders, trade financiers, distressed debt investors and private equity concerns. He most recently is representing creditors in the restructuring/rescue plans of major UK ‎retailers as well as representing and advising the former management in relation to claims arising ‎out of the collapse of Afren plc. ‎Grant is dual-qualified and has practised in both England and New South Wales, Australia.
