February 25, 2019 – Locke Lord launched today a new initiative focusing on the Firm’s next generation of leaders with the publication of its NextGen Q&A Series, which will profile each week a different young Partner across a broad spectrum of backgrounds, viewpoints and practices discussing how he or she is making a difference within the Firm, on behalf of clients and throughout their communities. Locke Lord continues to focus on promoting and highlighting the next generation to secure the future of the Firm, client relationships and well-developed and effective succession planning.
“We know we have outstanding NextGen lawyers, and we are excited to showcase them to others,” said Locke Lord Chair David Taylor. “The launch of our NextGen Q&A Series is just the latest example of our deep commitment to our NextGen leaders, who we know are integral to the Firm’s continued success and to our clients’ business success.”
Since assuming the role as Locke Lord Chair, Taylor has appointed many NextGen lawyers into leadership positions, including several to the Board of Directors. In addition, Locke Lord’s Associate Business Development Initiative that was started more than a decade ago is a custom training program designed to build camaraderie and outline realistic, effective steps to building new business. The Firm also partners with a number of its clients to host large-scale NextGen networking events in cities across the country.
