Locke Lord Partner Brad Knapp Selected to Join Inaugural Institute for Energy Law Leadership Class

July 24, 2018 – Locke Lord’s Brad Knapp, a Partner in the Firm’s New Orleans office, has been selected for the inaugural Leadership Class of the Institute for Energy Law (IEL). Knapp is one of only 35 accomplished lawyers from across the nation with varying energy law practices chosen for this honor.

Knapp is a member of Locke Lord's Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Insolvency and Consumer Finance Practice Groups. He advises on a variety of litigation and bankruptcy matters, including representing energy industry clients in bankruptcy proceedings and bankruptcy litigation on both the debtor and creditor side. Knapp also represents energy clients in litigation matters and in regulatory matters related to offshore oil and gas assets.

The IEL, one of the divisions of The Center for American and International Law, is a membership organization composed of leading energy companies and lawyers. The organization is one of the world’s oldest continuing legal education providers and presents several educational conferences and seminars each year, publishes papers and periodicals, and provides an important forum in which contemporary issues affecting the energy industries can be discussed.
