Dallas Tax Partner Geoff Polma commented on the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in South Dakota v. Wayfair, saying, “There’s a lot of uncertainty created by the decision. Now, there is an economic threshold determining when states pay sales tax — and states could interpret them very differently.” Polma also said he believes there is likely to be substantial pressure on Congress to act.
