Locke Lord Health Care Practice Group Co-Chair David Szabo Receives Massachusetts Health Data Consortium’s Dolores L. Mitchell Investing in Information Award

(BOSTON) April 11, 2018 – David Szabo, a Partner in Locke Lord’s Boston office and Co-Chair of the Firm’s Health Care Practice Group, was recently honored by the Massachusetts Health Data Consortium (MHDC) with the Dolores L. Mitchell Investing in Information Award.

The award honors individuals who have invested capital, knowledge and leadership to use information to innovate health care delivery, financing and policy. Szabo is the first individual to receive the award twice, having been honored previously in 2007. He serves as Chair of the MHDC Board of Directors.

Szabo represents hospitals, integrated delivery systems, physician organizations, home care companies and other health care service providers. He also represents health care information technology companies and health plans. He has extensive experience in health care licensing and regulation, reimbursement, fraud and abuse compliance matters, and the structuring of joint ventures.

Szabo has served on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts-Rhode Island Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He has been recognized by Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America for Health Care Law.
