June 1, 2017 – Locke Lord’s Bryan G. Harrison, a leading patent litigator, has been named Managing Partner of the Firm’s Atlanta office.
Harrison is a Partner in the Firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses on prosecuting and defending patent infringement actions, serving as regional or national litigation counsel for clients and appearing in various courts in more than 30 states, Canada and the European Union. He has also appeared in numerous proceedings before the International Trade Commission and other governmental agencies.

In addition to the nationally recognized international IP practice of which Harrison is a member, the Firm’s Atlanta office also has one of the premium finance practices in the country, including the representation of liquidity providers, broker-dealers, institutional investors, financing entities and reinsurance companies. It also offers a broad range of both corporate and litigation services, with a focus on general corporate, M&A, joint ventures, finance, technology, private equity, securities, banking, commercial lending, insurance and real estate transactions.
Active in the Atlanta community, Harrison has provided pro bono services to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta and its various parishes. He is also a frequent speaker and author concerning patent infringement, software copyright, electronic commerce, antitrust and other areas of the law. He was recognized by Chambers USA’s Award for Excellence in Intellectual Property Litigation 2010-14.
Prior to going into private practice, Harrison worked for the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, where he investigated and prosecuted numerous criminal antitrust and other white-collar actions as well as reviewed and investigated potential anti-competitive effects of proposed transactions under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act.
