Locke Lord Morristown Partner Lisa Ann Ruggiero Named 2016 Top Women in Law by New Jersey Law Journal

(MORRISTOWN) September 19, 2016 – Lisa Ann Ruggiero, a Partner based in Locke Lord’s Morristown office, has been selected as 2016 Top Women in Law honorees by the New Jersey Law Journal. These awards recognize 25 female lawyers across New Jersey who have had notable achievements in recent years or have made an extraordinary impact on the legal profession.

Ruggiero was selected for her work serving as a lead partner and team member on two high-profile matters, including representation of client DaVita Healthcare Partners, Inc. when a federal judge in Colorado declined to certify a class of patients who claimed to have been injured from the use of certain dialysis products at DaVita clinics.

Ruggiero is a member of Locke Lord’s Products Liability Practice Group and Class Action Practice Group. She provides management and defense of toxic tort, product liability and consumer fraud class action cases on behalf of major chemical, pharmaceutical, industrial, consumer product and medical services companies in federal and state courts. Ruggiero was a member of the Locke Lord team that was selected as the ‎exclusive winner of the “2015 Products Liability Litigation Department of the Year” ‎competition by the New Jersey Law Journal. Ruggiero is also a member of the Firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
