Locke Lord Partner Denise Hanna Receives ABA’s Champion of Diversity and Inclusion Award

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) March 9, 2016 – Denise Hanna, Office Managing Partner of the Firm's Washington, D.C. office, has been recognized for her exemplary efforts to promote diversity in the legal profession by the American Bar Association (ABA) with the Health Law Section’s Champion of Diversity and Inclusion Award. Hanna accepted the award at the 17th Annual Conference on Emerging Issues in Healthcare Law.

Hanna is Co-Chair of Locke Lord's Health Care Practice Group and former Chair of the Firm’s Diversity Committee. She has been involved in health care legal and public policy matters for more than 20 years and concentrates her practice on representing health insurance companies and managed care organizations. As a member of the ABA, Hanna is Co-Chair of the Washington Health Law Summit, Vice Chair of the Managed Care & Insurance Interest Group and Vice Chair of the Programs Committee.
