Locke Lord Partner David Harrell Jr. Named to ‘ADR Champions’ List by The National Law Journal

February 29, 2016 – Locke Lord Partner David Harrell Jr., Chair of the Firm’s International Arbitration and Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Groups, was named to this year’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Champions, a special supplement to The National Law Journal & Legal Times.

Harrell was recognized for his efforts to advance ADR tactics and continued success in preserving disputed business relationships. Editors of the supplement also noted Harrell’s commitment to education as he “frequently writes, speaks, and teaches about arbitration, from the perspective of the parties negotiating dispute resolution provisions, the advocates in those disputes, and the arbitrators who resolve them.”

Harrell has extensive first and second-chair trial and arbitration experience in the areas of energy litigation, commercial litigation and land use/permitting litigation. His energy litigation experience has included all aspects of the supply chain with representations of operators, producers, transporters, marketers and royalty owners. He has litigated contract disputes, royalty disputes, environmental claims, throughput and processing claims, and permitting claims, both onshore and offshore.
