Locke Lord Partner Vicky Gunning Selected as Board Member of CREW Network

October 15, 2015 – Locke Lord Partner and  Co-Chair of the Firm's Real Estate Transactions section, Vicky Gunning, has been selected to join the CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Network Board of Directors for a two-year term beginning in January 2016.

CREW Network seeks to influence the success of the commercial real estate industry by focusing on fulfilling four key initiatives: business development, leadership development, industry research and career outreach. Gunning, one of four  incoming Board members elected by the membership for 2016, will act as a liaison to regional CREW Network chapters, and work to advance the mission of CREW network by supporting and advancing women within the real estate industry.

In her practice, Gunning represents financial institutions and venture capital companies in asset based and real estate secured loans, syndicated credits, mezzanine debt, and debt restructurings and foreclosures. She counsels owners and developers in negotiating financing and the acquisition, development, leasing, and disposition of commercial real estate, including raw land, healthcare facilities, office and apartment properties, retail centers, and warehouse facilities.

Gunning has previously served as President of CREW Dallas in 2011 and was a recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award from CREW Dallas in 2013.

CREW Network was founded in 1989 and has a membership of more than 9,000 commercial real estate professionals in more than 70 chapters across North America.
