Savoy Names Locke Lord’s Denise Hanna One of the Most Influential Black Lawyers in 2015

March 10, 2015 ­– Savoy magazine has named Locke Lord Partner Denise E. Hanna as one of the country’s “Most Influential Black Lawyers” in a survey of the “best of the best” Black lawyers who are partners at leading national law firms and corporate counsel from Fortune 1000 corporations.

Hanna, who works out of the Firm’s Washington, D.C., office, is Chair of Locke Lord’s Health Care Practice Group.

With more than 20 years of experience in health care legal and public policy matters, Hanna advises health insurance companies and managed care organizations on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and entity formation, managed care contracting, joint ventures, commercial contracting and regulatory and compliance matters. She is a frequent speaker and writer on health reform topics. Hanna serves on the Governance Committee of the Hope Street Early Head Start Program sponsored by California Hospital Medical Center and has chaired the National Bar Association’s Health Law Section. Currently, as a member of the American Bar Association’s Health Law Section, she serves as a Vice Chair of the Managed Care & Insurance interest group and of the Programs Executive Committee and was Co-Chair of the 2014 Washington Health Law Summit.
