31st Annual SMU Corporate Counsel Symposium: Corporate Compliance in the Age of AI

Locke Lord is proud to sponsor the 31st Annual SMU Corporate Counsel Symposium on September 22, 2023. Brad Weber will serve as a panelist during the "Corporate Compliance in the Age of AI" session at 2:05pm CT.

Brad, alongside George Niño, will discuss issues related to an effective corporate policy on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools by company employees. The presentation also will describe strategies that companies can employ for mitigating the legal risks associated with contracts that allow third parties to access and use a company’s competitive business information for AI-powered software applications

The Corporate Counsel Symposium (CCS) brings together general counsel and attorneys from companies nationwide. The one-day symposium joins in-house and outside counsel together with judges and regulatory agencies for a survey of legal developments and best practices. CCS features panel discussions addressing timely legal issues, such as corporate social responsibility, blockchain transactions, shareholder activism, institutional shareholder interfacing, and executive compensation.
