Bank Director's Annual Bank Compensation and Talent Conference

Washington, D.C. Partner Doug Faucette participated in a discussion with Gregory Hudson, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Director, Examinations Banking Supervision Department at Bank Director’s Annual Bank Compensation and Talent Conference held in Dallas. The presentation topic was a regulatory update of changes in bank agency regulation of various compensation plans and practices. Messrs. Faucette and Hudson discussed the material differences in the degree of regulatory scrutiny given to banks with a high supervisory rating and the banks not enjoying a high rating. Both Mr. Faucette and Mr. Hudson pointed out the significant increase in banks enjoying a high rating since the economy turned around and the relative lack of supervisory involvement in their compensation practices.
