Cybersecurity and Privacy: Understanding the Regulatory Framework to Inform Compliance and Breach Response

Locke Lord sponsored a CLE luncheon for the Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel on September 12, 2018. The topic of the presentation was "Cybersecurity and Privacy: Understanding the Regulatory Framework to Inform Compliance and Breach Response." 

Brandan Montminy spoke and covered much of the waterfront pertaining to the interactions of key laws and regulations in the constantly-evolving cybersecurity and privacy space. The presentation gave a high-level overview of GDPR, NYDFS 500, CCPA, GLBA, and key state-law developments, and briefly compare the regulations.
