Brad Weber is speaking at the TxGCFORUM: Forum Focus - US Business Outlook in the New Administration on October 3, 2017 in Dallas. He is speaking at Session Three: Antitrust Outlook.
With the election of Donald Trump, we are observing unprecedented changes and approaches across the country, especially in the business world. Initiatives put in place by the prior administration are being withdrawn and replaced. New priorities and agendas are being implemented in earnest. The guard has changed but, at least in antitrust, the Trump Administration has been slower in making its changes felt. In the last of our three-part series, we will discuss the forecast for antitrust enforcement by the federal agencies, state attorneys general, and federal courts. Panelists will also provide insights about the impact of the mid-term elections on antitrust, including the Democrats' vision for antitrust enforcement as part of A Better Deal for America.
