Dallas Team Represented Comstock Resources in Divestiture of Bakken Shale Assets

A Locke Lord team led by Henry Benton (Dallas) represented Comstock Resources, Inc., a leading independent natural gas producer, in its asset purchase agreement with Northern Oil & Gas, Inc., to sell its assets in the Bakken shale for $154 million. Northern Oil & Gas is a non-operated working interest franchise in the premier shale basins across the United States. The sale includes a non-operated working interest in more than 400 wells, with the production of over 4,500 net barrels of oil equivalent per day. For more information, please see the press release.
